This was Funny

Here is a funny sign we saw on our trip. I think it may have been in Spokane but it's all a blurr at this point. Unfortuntately the store was closed so we couldn't find out whether the sign was accurate or not.
I made it to the studio today but didn't get anything done. It seems that driving and riding are more tiring than I thought. It is also probable that you never get as good a sleep in a hotel as at home. We live in the country so our nights are absolutely quiet. Most motels are near the highway so it's never quiet. We were also very anxious to get back to homemade bread. All in all, we are glad to be home even though it was a great trip.

love the sign... maybe the store was closed as they went out of business with their customer service :-)

Too funny! You should send into Jay Leno's (sp?) show...he does a segment on funny signs, I think. ??? (I can't watch TV past dark...if I'm sitting, I'm sleeping!)

The adventures that you had I'm sure were wonderful...but "I hear ya" on the good night's rest issue. The dry air bothers me a lot in a hotel/motel.

Hope you hear something back from your hubby's prospective gallery!!! How exciting.

Dorothy said it best -- There's no place like home!

Thanks for sharing the pic of the great sign.

That is a very funny sign Joyce. Glad you enjoyed your trip (check out those redgums!). Yep, there's no place like home.

I had to smile about your missing your home-made bread... when my parents travel, they often take their bread machine along - mom pre-packages all her flour and stuff in a big zip lock, and have home-made bread right in the hotel... :)
