Using erase...Ive just gotten into stamp making too. Using erasers and some material I got at the art supply store that is like erasers but you get a whole sheet of it, much cheaper in the long run. I'm using an exacto knife but also have the other tools from my husband's wood cutting days. I had my students cut with lino cutters a square gum eraser on one or more sides. They would then plan a tessellating repeat. Its instant success and fun!
