Here is my first attempt at uploading a video. This is Odei Falls near Thompson. It is an incredibly beautiful spot right on the highway to Gillam. We spent two days getting here, stopping at The Pas the first night. We did find one quilt store on the way at Plumas, Manitoba. I had heard about it and always wanted to stop there. It is called Kick Ass Country Store and it lives up to it's name. I forgot to take photos but did get a couple of pieces of fabric.
We went out sightseeing with our hosts yesterday and took lots and lots of photos. The scenery is fantastic right now with all the colored leaves against the evergreens. It is quite a lot colder than at home and there is a heavy frost on the grass this morning. Today will be another photo day and then we will leave for home tomorrow morning.
Oh man, the video is wonderful! I could sit there and watch that water all day!
ReplyDeleteWell done Joyce! Glad you're enjoying yourselves!

Glorious! I have GOT to learn how to do this - I have all the gizmos on my camera and I didn't even realize it when it was purchased! Thanks for the video.

ReplyDeleteNice video! Now I've got to try it. I know I post a picture from my phone. I'll have to try a video from my phone too. O and my camera. O O O

ReplyDeletevideo with audio too. Wow! Thanks for taking me along.
ReplyDeleteWhen it started I nearly jumped out of my chair! (I have an overdeveloped startle reflex, but still.) The audio is great and the whole thing very impressive.
ReplyDeleteClever lady Joyce. That was great, but like Lynda my sound was turned up too loud and I nearly fell off my chair in fright.Lol.
ReplyDeleteAbout how far in distance have you travelled on your trip?
