Prize

I just went to the mailbox and found this great prize that I won from Gayle at Sparkle Jars.
The long strips will definitely find their way into a quilt soon. Gayle knows what I love and so included some rickrack. I especially like the ones with gold and silver threads. Now I can't wait to get back into the studio and put some of those lovely fabrics up on my design wall.

I Won!

A few weeks ago I entered a draw held by Gwen from Scrappy Angel Quilts and I won! Today my prize arrived in the mail and I'm sure she has been reading my blog because the package contained a selection of my favorite kinds of fabrics. There were gorgeous hand dyes and dotted fabrics all tied up with the most beautiful trimming ribbon. The blue piece is very large and I have added another picture of a corner of it that is totally amazing. They will soon find their way into a quilt or wall hanging if I can bear to cut into them.
