Summer's New Quilt

Summer has started a new quilt. She made her own design on graph paper and we are translating it to cloth. She has the four corner squares partly done and it is looking very good so far. The first photo is her design in her sketch book and below that is what she has done so far. I must say that I am quite impressed, but of course I am her Grandma.

What a neat design! Looks like Summer has a future in quilt design. Maybe we'll see her on tv one day.

How could you hold still enough to snap a pick, Gram?!? ;-) How exciting!

Bravo, Summer!!! I know many-a-seasoned quilter who are totally afraid of the graph paper! Great job!

I'm telling you...They'll have a ton of summer vacations ahead of them, but they'll always remember this one and quilting with you. So glad you are documenting and taking pictures.

That's looking great!

Seems to me like she needs to start accumulating her own fabric stash. :)
