I got the houses put together with the yellow sashing. I don't like the lower right area but not sure what to do about it. The yellow is too wide there. Maybe I can fill it with quilting or applique something on there. The border looks quite dark in the photo but in real life it's quite bright.

The houses look great Joyce, you've been so busy! I think once you've quilted it, the lower right side won't bother you quite so much. It wasn't the first thing I noticed (I only noticed it once you pointed it out!!) as the houses are the real attention grabbers. PS - How much snow did you get?
Maybe you could put a tree there.
I was thinking the same thing as Darling Millie. Either applique a tree or maybe just quilt one in?
