Studio Pictures

I don't have the camera until Saturday evening. Marcel took it up to Flin Flon when he went to adjudicate an art show. Flin Flon is about 8 hours north of here so the scenery is quite different .
Meanwhile, here is a picture of my (messy) studio from the door. He was about to leave so I just shot off a few pictures so I would have something for my blog while he's gone. You can see the split nine patch that I am plugging away at. The problem with quilt as you go is all the hand sewing on the back when you start to assemble it. I also didn't get it assembled very well. Some of the blocks don't match very well but I am sick of the thing so it's getting finished as it is with no ripping out. I really wish I had assembled it and then quilted it as I usually do.
The left foreground is a little corner of my dyeing table. If it ever stops raining I will get to some more work there. The forecast is sunny for the weekend so maybe...

Your studio looks neat to me! At the moment I have a mess on our dining table- all the scraps from the Spiderweb, but I will tidy it all today. Who knows we may even use the table to EAT off. lol.

how i wish i had a studio as big as yours. If you get a chance to dye some fabrics, i would love to see them.

ok, I really don't see a mess there -- but then again, I don't see much of a mess in my "studio" which ocassionally serves as the dining room. Of our kitchen/dining room combo. So we haven't eaten at the table since last Christmas -- isn't that normal?

You have a great big studio, thank-you for sharing a picture of it with us.
I am doing a quilt as you go quilt as well at the moment and for now I think it is very easy to quilt the single blocks that way. Let´s see if the final put together will be as easy!
You were lucky to find so many patchwork magazines. Looking through them with a cup of tea and some biscuits is one of my favorite passtimes too. Take care.

Your studio looks like a great place to work/relax with your sewing. I Love the white everywhere.

A studio to die for. I didn't realise your house quilt was so big. It's difficult to work out how big everyone's quilts are just by the photo. Photo's like this put them into perspective.

Thanks for showing and love the greenery outside. Any chance of any pictures of the view from your windows?
