The Beauty of Winter

We woke up this morning to light snow and beautiful frost on the trees. It's still pretty cold so the snowshoes and snowboard seem to be staying where they are.

I took the dog out the other night and it wasn't dark, dark and no stars were out, but the new snow gave this light glow, and it was soooo quiet! I just stayed out there forever - well until Chloe heard the coyotes. Then I made her go in!

We're having a misty/foggy warm day following a day of LOTS of snow. The forecast is for rain and freezing rain later. This Winter has provided opportunity for a lot of interesting conversation! ;-)

What a beautiful BLUE on that photo! The view is gorgeous also. Wish we had some fresh snow - all ours is ugly and dirty now.

I can't believe the weather you are all having over here. We haven't had a fall of snow so far this winter, just really heavy frosts. Mind you, now that I've said that .............................

Snow always looks so good when you don't have to get through it and get to work! Here in the UK we've had a beautiful sunny day. Sorry!
