Today I did a bit of playing around with my flying geese ruler. I like the colors but I'm afraid I lost quite a few of my points in the process. One more reason to love wonky quilting. This pieces is about 24x17 inches.
I ditto Cheri - too afraid of cutting off those points. I always think that Flying Geese are the Quilt Police's heaven and a liberated quilter's nightmare.
Well golly that's fun and so cute. Love the border fabric, too. Oh wait. And the ric rack is very creative. By the way, I never would have bothered noticing the points. I don't usually "go in" for noticing that stuff until someone points it out. I mean, I do on a big fancy quilt but on something cute we MAKE for our enjoyment, I just don't.
This is just a happy happy little quilt and I for one LOVE IT!!! Happy I stopped by.

I've never made a series of flying geese, too afraid of the points issue. Love the way you set yours off with rick rack!

Great use of rick rack.
I really like that stripey border with the rick rack. Points are tough not to blunt on those blocks:(
Just tell everyone you planned it that way - that's what I do. :) blessings, marlene
