I got this one pieced together yesterday. I will need to find some backing before I can quilt it so it's on to the next project.

- I retired a few years ago after being an elementary school teacher for many years. I started quilting a few years ago and now I find that a day without quilting is a day wasted. I also dye fabrics and have dabbled in batik. I love this quote that a friend sent me. Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!"
