Today I finally got my stitch regulator. It was easy to assemble with no problems at all attaching it. Loading the quilt is quite a job but I'm sure I'll get better at it with practise. I got a start on the first row of quilting but then had to stop for a break. It will get easier I'm sure. It's a bit tense at first.

Well, you are well on your way now with all the correct parts and even a top all loaded! Way to go!
Cheers!

Have fun!
I need one of those too! So far, I'm still trying to get better at hand quilting.
The winter words sounds like a great idea. I can't wait to see what you create with them!
Glad you are on your way. Don't forget to stop for food and sleep. :) and to keep us posted!
Can I get a Wooo Hooo? Have a blast!
Wow, now there will be no stopping you!
Can we see the result, when you have finished? Please.
Good luck on your quilting - with the proper tools, you have no excuses now not to finish quickly. I look forward to seeing the quilt in its full glory.
Hi - I went looking for quilting blogs and happened upon yours. I am also a retired teacher; I live in NH. I don't know much about Canada although we are not that far away. I am an intermediate quilter, but I don't know what that machine is that you are working on. Is it a long-arm quilter? I borrowed your quote about life - I hope you don't mind. I am 74 and enjoying my retirement time.
