We had a very creative day today. While some were doing a Raku firing Katerina, who is originally from Ethiopia, made cuffs with me in my studio. As you can see from the mess above, we were very creative. She made a special one for me that is more of a talisman than jewelery.

Here is Katerina working on my cuff, and wearing the one she picked of mine.

Later we all enjoyed Ethiopian food as well as fish chowder, Italian soup and home made focaccia bread. Is there anything better than pot luck? I don't think so.
Just before leaving, Katerina gave us an iridology reading and then a wonderful reflexology foot massage. I felt very spoiled indeed!

That sounds like the perfect day!
I sooo love to try new foods. Lucky you!
What a wonderful day. Creative clutter is always better than tidy idleness. I think anyway.
