Scraps

From this

To this. And there are still lots of scraps left. I also raided the parts drawer for some extra nine patches and other assorted blocks. If they weren't the 8.5 inches that I needed I just added to the sides. I think there are several quilt tops like this in that pile.

What fun! There's never a dull moment by your design wall, is there?

Just goes to show what you can do with a heap of scrap material. There is loads of stuff like this gets tossed everyday. At least your recycling and isn't it lovely. Go girl go.

That is definitely having fun.

Love the stripy ones either side of the red and white 9 patch.

great quilt Joyce- it feels like it is free because it comes from the scrap pile- How big is it?
You do have fun playing with your scraps- what a nice way to spend your day.

Anna

I just posted a box of neatly trimmed scraps, all 2 1/2 inches. How come YOUR pile of scraps looks a lot more intriguing, then MINE? 8-))

Fantastic - I love what you've done with that pile of bits. I have so many scraps at the moment they are making me nervous - I'm thinking of a rail fence in every colour going.

This is fun, isn't it? I put together part of a top from orphan blocks last week, and I want to work on that instead of other things. Hmm..
