I have started making some wonky pinwheels as described by
Gwen Marston in Liberated Quiltmaking II. I am using the strips I won last week. I will soon have to decide what color I will use for sashing. It will have to be a solid but I have no idea what color to use. I'll be auditioning fabrics once I have a few more blocks done.
Simba has come for a visit this week while his family is away for spring break. It's nice to have him around again.

You have been busy. My friend has a puppy called Simba too.
I like those. I'm going to try that technique sometime. are you able to throw away the trimmings, or do you keep them for something else?
Great liberated pinwheels. Isn't that book amazing? I just love mine.
Well, you know me: I'd go with RED!!!!
Simba is a gorgeous boy! Enjoy!!
Happy Easter!

Great blocks Joyce! I look forward to see what you audition for the sashings...
How nice to have a visit from Simba... he must be lonely with his family gone...
I am so glad to see Simba! I had been going to ask how he is, & I know he will enjoy being back with you for a visit.
