Rocky Mountain High Up

Ham, cheese and fig sandwich at The Quarry in Canmore, Alberta.

We drove as far as Revelstoke yesterday. The mountains are beautiful but much more tense driving for me.

I am so jealous of that sandwich. I will definitely have to try it the next time I head to Canmore.

We are off to Jasper in mid August for a few days. The mountains are so beautiful aren't they? Did you get a chance to stop at Sugar Pines Quilt Store in Canmore- it is quite a lovely store. there are some lovely ones in Calgary too.
And one in Cochrane called Addies.
Hope you are having a terrific trip.
Warmest regards,
Anna

You've been traveling through my favorite part of the world!

It looks like you were able to travel through the Rockies before the smoke from the forest fires filled the valleys! We travelled home from Olds to Kelowna on Monday and then on to the coast on Tuesday and we could not see any of the great views because of the smoke!

That sandwich looks like just the ticket to feed weary travelers. Yum!

Beautiful scenery! It's always nice to travel and see the beautiful surroundings in other parts of the country...but oh so sweet to know where to call *home!*

Safe travels!
