Another Option

I found this mottled green fabric in my stash while looking for something else. I kind of like the look. Maybe it's time to re-organize the stash...

Very pretty. (Australia! Oh, now I do feel bad for complaining.)

the green looks pretty good, maybe not that wide though. Maybe a piano key type border with 2 colors in similar values would work too.

I love that green! And I agree about not having it that wide. Can't wait to see this finished.

This looks like a very fun project Joyce- I love the print piece that is framing your hand dyed fabric. It might be fun to applique something across your hand dyed piece- I love the acid green fabric - like others it might be fun to have a narrower width of it. Have fun playing...

The green is absolutely fabulous - you should definitely use it. As far as the width is concerned I'd try to make it in the same proportion to the dark blue border, as the purple and lightgreen are to each other.

I like the lights that the green lend to the inner pieces.
What an interesting study in light and dark.

The green really adds to it!

Yes, the green really lights up your hand-dyed centre fabrics! I agree with the 'not quite so wide comments', but don't make it too narrow either, (somewhere between the width of the inner blue green and the flowers?) it's a fabulous colour!
