Yesterday I bought this little grain mill to make flour for my home made bread. It's made in Germany by
Komo and is warrantied for 6 years. It grinds with two little stone and does a very nice job. I made some bread yesterday which tasted great but didn't rise as well as I'd like. I'll do some experimenting this week to see if I can improve the results.

I've had that problem with freshly-milled wheat. it could be that the moisture is high in the wheat or fusarium (that's what my expert DH says) sometimes it works better to mill a bunch of wheat and store it in the freezer. or add some lemon juice.
the grain mill looks like it could be a lot of fun - a good motivation to make homemade breads!
thanks for commenting on my blog - i plan to post a tutorial for the striped block sometime this weekend.
Interesting tool there Joyce! I see it works on electricity!!! Progress... lol! Good luck with your next batch... 8-)
