Stars and Moons

Today I stenciled on some stars and moons. I think it softens the turquoise a bit. I have a large piece of snow dye that should fit the back. I will probably quilt this one with silver thread like the last one. I had thought I'd use gold but now that it's done I think silver will work better.

I like this one a lot - the snow dyed fabric border suits it perfectly along with the stars and moons. Of course purple and blue are two of my favourite colours!!

The stencilling REALLY works! Just lovely and I think with all the cool colours, silver will be better than gold for sure. Gorgeous, Joyce!

Your stenciling adds just the right amount of that little something of extra special!!
I just thought of something Joyce! You probably don't have many UFOs/WIPs/PhDs hanging around at your place do you!? It seems you are very good at seeing something through to the end very quickly...

Hello Joyce,
I LOVE this quilt. I really love these types of colors. I noticed you are interested in dyeing fabrics, which is why I recently became a follower of your blog and thought you might be interested in doing the same at decolourant.blogspot.com
deColourant is a new and exciting product that removes and replaces the color of dyed fabrics with ease. It is activated by heat and gives off a slight citrus smell. I think your quilt possibilities are endless with this product! More info can be found at www.harbor-sales.com and ordering can be done at www.i-kandi.com
Have a great Tuesday!
