Fabric Shop

Of course, I couldn't leave Santa Fe without shopping for some fabric that would remind me of that wonderful place. My favorite is the black one with the Kokopeli design. I bought a couple of yards of it. There may be a bag in there.

Speaking of bags, I couldn't resist adding to my bag pattern collection. There were some samples of this one hanging in the shop and it really appealed to me. We'll see how it turns out.
I hear by the news that we narrowly missed some huge tornado weather down south. Another reason I'm glad to be home!

Nice fabric. I know the feeling when out shopping, you just got to buy some haven't you. Like the bag pattern too.

The fabrics are fantastic Joyce- I love the black Kokopelli one too. I am sure the bag will work out beautifully too,
Glad you missed the storm- it looked like a real nasty one. It is so terrible what has happened to the people living in that town in Mississippi.
It looks like you had a fabulous journey- Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Anna

Glad you had a good and fruitful trip ... and that you're safely home.

The purse I carry is the shape of the one in your pattern. It nestles close to my side and I like that I don't have to remove it from my shoulder to get my wallet out because of where the zipper is located. It, too, has a secure outside pocket for my cell phone. I love it!

Welcome home. The black fabric is a favorite of mine also. Very striking.
