This is the second batch of bread using my new flour mill. This one rose much better. I added some vitamin c and used a bit more white flour. It's hard to imagine how much better it tastes with the fresh flour. I used several kinds of flour as well as sunflower seeds.

Looks yummy Joyce! :-)
That bread looks delicious.
Mmmm. Yum! Perfect weather for bread baking...yea!
a few weeks ago, I made my first batch of bread from scratch and it was wonderful. You have gone into bread making big time. Have fun.
That did rise well! Can you ship some here please?:)
I'm curious to hear what the flour mill cost. We have a farm near us that will grind flour for you while you watch. It certainly does taste wonderful but they charge $1/cup of flour. If you buy their grinder, they'll sell you grain pretty cheap and it is organic but the grinder is, can't remember now, more than $200. That's a lot of bread. Also, btw, have you heard about azodicarbonamide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azodicarbonamide/). Robin Hood flour (for shame!!) has this stuff in it. I wondered about that and looked it up: Shocking! Health Canada! Where are you!!! I'm trying to spread the word.
