Polar Fleece

Before I started quilting I sewed a lot of sweaters from polar fleece. Everyone in my family has many of them. The little kids used to get them with their initial in big letters on the front. The twins' teachers used to really appreciate theirs because they could then tell them apart. This is one I made for daughter Cherie about ten years ago. It was her design and she still gets compliments on it. The thing about polar fleece is that it never fades or wears out. The pants are also polar fleece. It is supposed to go to -37 tonight so she may need her layers of polar fleece.

wonderfully bright circles -- but I doubt the polar fleece will be enough tonight, even with several layers!

Polar fleece is my friend when it gets chilly here. And you're right, it never wears out! Love the colours.

Hee hee. The sweaters with kids initials on the front reminds me of Harry Potter! Cute.

I love the polar fleece dots. They're great. And I missed your last few posts about your cityscape. I love how it is looking!

Great jacket!

I love polar fleece. I have not made clothes with it just blankets.

I have a coca cola polar fleece blanket on my bed and the dogs have not been able to distroy it.

Stay warm today! Schools are closed around here because it is
-9 today.

That sweater looks so warm & cosy!
Yes polar fleece is great, & quite forgiving to sew!
It is usually too hot to wear it often here. LOL.

We're both displying photos with circles! My Dark Side of the Moon quilt top (still to be sewn up)will be pieced with 8" blocks, but the circles are fused on.

Oooh...does that outfit ever look warm. She's a lucky daughter!

We are supposed to be warming up soon, aren't we? During the news, I was telling hubby about our *equal* temps...and then up popped a photo of some kiddos from Walhalla...outside...standing beside a sign that was reading nearly the same in Ce. and Fa.!

Stay warm and safe!

That is a fun sweater. Did you use a pattern or just wing it? I guess the winter weather is finally coming to Manitoba - brrr.
