Not Another Bag!

I know,I know, I have enough bags already. But I couldn't resist trying Louisa's with the colors in a different order. Then I had all those green fabrics sitting there calling, "Try me! Try me!" So I did. I love the green one a lot. I'm not sure whether it or the black and white is my favorite. I have several more color combos sitting there calling to me but I may resist. I'd also like to try one with a total mixture of colors with only the top border matching. I have a few squares left of each color I have used so that may be in the near future. It now takes me two hours to make one bag if I don't make any mistakes. I have learned a couple of things. First, the stiffer the batting the nicer the bag. I like the way the stiff ones stand on their own. Second, there are no bad color combinations. Does that sound like someone who is going to resist making just one more bag???

Your bags are so nice. I am going to have to make one. What type of batting are you using? I am not sure on stiff batting unless you start getting into an interfacing.

I used to scorn those artists who make a series of things eg. 'Pond life 1', 'Pond life 2' etc, but I appreciate (as you do) that sometimes a good thing - like a bag - can be different in many enticing colourways or patterns! love the bags, and look forward to ore!

They are wonderful, & I see Ali has made some too. Very addictive, they seem to be.
I couldnt find the instructions for the handles, on Andrea's instruction. Did I just miss it?

I reckom you're on a roll! Don't stop now. I love the green one wow! It took me way longer than 2 hours - maybe I need more practise ( big grin! )

Ha! I agree! I made a pair of pants in around 2 hours today, when the previous pair (same pattern) took around 4 hours :)

I like the B&W the best because it's so bold!

This is my first visit to a blog. I love the bags. Can you tell me how or where to get instructions.
Thank you so much.

This is what's so fun about a great pattern . . . you simply can't resist making another and another and another. Enjoy *s*

What in heavens' name are you going to do with all of these bags? You need to open an Etsy shop or something, as they would sell like hotcakes! These two are just lovely!!

I know what she's going to do with all those bags: ship the extras to adoring fans. Right? Yum, I'm lovin' that green one!
