Yesterday we finished the circles and sewed them down. Now we have to assemble them. We are thinking of doing some dyeing for the background. We tried out a brown border and it looks pretty good. We are thinking of a line of orange rick rack down the middle of the binding.

Welcome back. It looks as if you are making up for lost time and have been really really busy.
I think we may have another quilter in our midst *VBG*
Great circles.
What fun for you to be, in part, responsible for introducing Alison to yet another artistic medium! Looks like the two of you are having a blast with those circles!
Looks great, Joyce - and you've given me an idea for a little art quilt I need to make. I knew if I waited long enough I'd be inspired! Thanks :)
This is such a great quilt! Is she converted to quilting yet?
Are those white centers just blanks with wall showing through? I enlarged the photo to look more closely and saw your rulers hanging -- what a great way to store them.
Love it . . . what fun to have brought a new quilter into the fold *s*
I LOVE this quilt, especially the wonkiness of it all. Much more interesting than everything even and straight IMHO! Great fabrics--it's all super.
Amazing - you are so talented! I had seen 'circle quilts' before and was left unimpressed until I saw what YOUR skills brought to the designs!
Have to admit, browns and foresty colors, such as you've used, ARE my favorites!
The circles are looking absolutely stunning! Way to go!!! Have fun dyeing your fabric for the background. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Those circles are pretty and they look fun to make.
