Wild and Crazy Quilt Again

This morning I sewed the blocks together and added the black border. The black and white checked border is pieced and ready to attach. I'll bind it with black, much as I dislike hand sewing down a black binding.

I do like this, but you know how much I like bold colours. I started making blocks a while back. I will have to get them out again and get something done with them.

Thankyou for commenting on my blog. I've had a great time reading through a lot of your blog .......... the quilts (I'm particularly taken with the Teddy Bears and love the colours), all the delectable food your produce and snow dyeing! I've never heard of snow dyeing. We don't get snow very often and last week had more than we've had for years (about 8") but it's now mostly all washed away with yesterday's rain - typical! I'd be interested to know what dyes you use and how you actually do it though!

I really like this wild and crazy quilt. Funny, binding is one of my favorite parts.

I wouldn't have thought to put the spots on as a border, but I love how it looks. I think it will look great with black, spots then black binding. Wonderful.
