Changes

I didn't really like the black border so yesterday I dyed some mottled gray fabric and I like it much better. The first four strips are sewn into two double strips. I am using Elmer's School Glue instead of pins. So far, so good.

I'm confused. where are you using glue? on your fabric. your quilt looks good from over here. I'm with you on the grey. Also, could you post a pic of the initial fabric sometime for comparison?

This has developed into a truly awesome quilt. I wasn't sure about it at all at first when you were adding those rectangled parts, but now I absolutely LOVE it. It all fits so nicely together and is simply stunning.

I like the gray fabric much better Joyce! It isn't as harsh as the black looked...

Glue? Hmmm...? Something to try sometime! 8-)

The grey is beautiful Joyce- makes it float and does not take over the quilt. It is a gorgeous quilt.
