Open Boxes Again
Sorry this picture is a bit blurry but it's cold and wet outside and I don't feel like trekking back to the studio to take a better one. I thought I'd use this piece for a bag but it's getting huge. It covers the whole middle of my ironing board and it's not done yet. It will match a bit better when it's sewn together but I may go back and re-do a couple of the first pieces that didn't fit properly. There are also some light spots on the green fabric that need to be colored or changed. I'll see if I have any paintsticks or markers that match.

Your brain must be extremely disciplined! This looks so complicated, but I suppose after studying/working with it, the sense appears. Sooo interesting to see it laid out - thanks!
Looking at this is so weird, it makes my eyes go funny. My brain doesn't make sense of it. Think I'd be pulling my hair out. Waiting to see it finished. It looks huge to me also.
They look great but my brain hurts!
Maybe it will turn into more of an overnight bag? I can see that. And depending on where those light spots fall...perhaps a pocket? Or applique? Or cluster of beads?
Enjoy!
Wow! Very creative Joyce! Looks like you are having lots of fun playing with your open boxes and hexagons!! Awesome! 8-)
Happy stitchings!
My goodness but this is extremely cool!
