More Auditions

I have been sewing polar fleece this week (yes, getting ready for winter) so haven't worked on this quilt. I did play around a bit with other possible borders. I hope to make a decision and get them sewn on next week. It's so beautiful outside today that it seems a shame to stay in the studio.

I like what you've tentatively laid out on the left side there Joyce... 8-)

I agree with Myra. The orange is overpowering on the right.

I'm sitting on the left side too.

I guess the question is what kind of look do you want for the quilt? I like the orange on the right, now that you've bordered it on both sides and made it a little smaller...it would be a vibrant quilt if you used that. If you want something a little calmer, then the purple one is for you. I really like how you've added just a smidge of orange there as well though. Can't wait to see what you decide. :-)

This is coming together beautifully. I wish I had the same patience you have with auditioning borders...it's worth the extra time you put into it.
