Jacket

Katrina at Sunshower Quilts
posted a tutorial about making patchwork jackets using a sweater. I just had to try it. I don't like the flowery fabric under the arms. If I had used the blue fabric (just supposing I had any left!) it might have been all right but with the black flowery fabric it is just too busy even for me.
The technique is great though and I am thinking it might work using a sweater with a zipper. I'm not sure what to do with this one. I may finish it and give it to someone as a gift. They'd have to wear it or hurt my feelings. Lol.

I love the stripes down the sleeves and the front.

I sort of see what you mean about the floral bits. But I do love the stripes!
I have just changed to Beta, on your recommendation, & lo! I seem to be able to post comments again.

It is a bit scary really....

You are far braver than me Joyce :)

Give it to someone you don't really like - that'll teach them!!

I've made the beta switch too, and it's great so far! Love the templates :)

Your jacket is really neat! At a quick glance it makes me think of Jospeh's coat of many colors. Very colorful, very fun!
