Snow

Yesterday and last night we had about a foot and a half of nice, soft, fluffy, white snow. We went for a walk and Simba was almost out of sight in it. He was totally enjoying it. In fact , in the morning when I went out on the deck to get something, he actually grabbed my hand in his mouth and tried to coax me out for a walk. It was so funny. I just had to get dressed properly and go.

Here is a picture of our table on the deck with it's layer of snow. It looks just like a big white cake. I should put a candle in it. I'm not sure why the picture turned out so blue but you can see the effect anyway.

Wow Joyce, I can only dream about snow like that!
We used to get snow occasionally, but nothing like that.

Sounds as if Simba really loves it!

looks so pretty around your place.... I drove 800 km through it yesterday on roads that ought to have been closed, so am finding it hard to "enjoy" in any form other than pictures somewhere other than where I am...

The blue makes it look even colder -- what fun to go for a walk and see everything so white and clear.

The "snow cake" looks magic - wish we had snow up here :-) Happy New Year!

So cute how Simba took your hand and asked for a walk!

How beautiful. I dream of a white Christmas. Sigh. Thank you for your comment on my blog.
(And I love your quote on your "About me" page, I'm passing it onto my girlfriends!)

Love it! That blueness in the photo only adds to the ambience. Simba sounds like he loves it too!
