Here's Maggie!

Definitely not the look I was going for. Who knew that the orange would look so much like swirling flames and the fork would look so demonic. Maybe I will make a morality quilt with Heaven and Hell on it. I can't think of any other use for this block.

This is excellent - I'm rolling on the floor. You'll find something to do with it, I'm sure!!

Ooh-er, she does have a bit of a demonic air about her. Interesting though, to see what difference the background fabric made.

What about appliquing an apron on and a demure smile?

Wow she wasnt going to be anyone's rosy little farmer girl, was she!
I love the way your characters take on a life of their own.

Oh my, that is one seriously ticked off farmer's wife -- you'd think someone had been cow tipping in her pastures!

Depending on how big she is -- she might make a lovely little wall hanging -- maybe some wonky words around her "Hell hath no fury..."

I am so smiling and laughing right now. Thanks!

maybe a quilt about forest fires? it is a little scarey -- though in a fun way!

forest fires indeed! That fits in perfectly in my part of the southern US right now! LOL Seriously though,I do love the fabrics. You do such great work!!!

Ooh, like that Hell Hath No Fury idea.I think she's awesome, but yes can see she wouldn't be a great farmer. Would work on a Halloween quilt!

Wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of her! I like atet's idea. Isn't it odd how one can never "see" something until it is finished.

It made me laugh out loud! Hell hath no fury, indeed...

Joyce, this is hilarious! (C'mon now. What were you really thinking about when you created this woman?)

All she needs is a couple of horns and a goatee beard - you do make me laugh Joyce :o)

HOW FUNNY!! I love the "Hell hath no Fury" idea. The first thing I thought of was a witch out of uniform(uniform=black dress)lol. That would go along with the Halloween quilt theory. I love it, though....if you don't find a use for it, you can always send it to me! hehe

Thanks for my grin for the day... :D

I think she needs a little pink applique pig on the tines of the pitchfork, and a bbq grill on the other side... lol

But...I really don't think it's saying 'country roads, take me home!' Much more, come to the country ...at your peril!!
