Oh No, Charlie Brown!
Yesterday some friends were visiting and it was decided that since the wind was brisk and gusty, it was perfect weather for kite flying. Now, our friend has professional level kites with kevlar strings and titanium ribs. None of this plastic and balsa stuff. A sudden gust took the kite around our VERY high internet tower and quickly wrapped it around about fifty times. Today it sags sadly in the rain. We'll have to get somebody out to lower the tower somehow and untangle the kite. Now we know how Charlie Brown felt.
On a happier note, I got the last star sewn up this afternoon and tomorrow I can start assembling the flimsy on my latest quilt.

Oh-oh! Kite predicament not good... We had a tower on our home in the country. It was not a good thing one stormy night. That was a big Oh no Charlie Brown too!
On your last star block!? Thats great! That quilt will be done in no time! I envy you speediness! 8-)
Happy stitchings!
So, are you most concerned about the kite or losing your internet? LOL
Congrats on your great progress with that quilt!iwq

Bummer about the kite. I am so excited to see your quilt assembled. Congrats on getting that last star done.
Way to go finishing up all those stars! Looking forward to seeing the finished top. Too bad about the kite though...
At least you didn't lose internet service! Too bad about the kite though.
