Scrap Therapy

Today I got so frustrated looking at the K Quilt with no ideas and waiting for a bit of gold to finish the star quilt that I realized I needed a bit of scrap therapy. I took the scrappy blocks that I won a few weeks ago and just sewed them together any which way, trimming and adding from my own scraps until I felt satisfied. Then I took some of my strips to make a border. I had the orange in the middle but then thought it might look better on the outside. I might put something darker in the middle border, like black with white rather than white with black. Whew! I feel so much better.

You are right. Scrap therapy makes everything OK.

scrap therapy is so much cheaper than talk therapy :-)

Thank goodness for other, or UFO projects, to switch to when we need a break from what we've been working on! 8-)

Scrappy quilts are a quilter's therapy. Which reminds me. Where did I put that box of scraps!

Playing is indeed the best part! Finishing is a little harder (for some of us, anyhow -- you seem to do really well!).
