Do I Need Another Bag?
There was a quarter inch of ice on the water in a pail on the deck this morning. To cheer myself up I thought I'd make a bag from one of the Laurel Burch fat quarters that I bought on our trip. Now I have decisions to make. Which side is the front? I stitched around all the cats with gold thread on the side shown above. If that is the front should I make a red tab? Or use hidden snaps? It seems to need something to make it look more finished on this side. Maybe red piping?
Or should this be the front. I only had a fat quarter of the fabric so I had to piece it.
The other option is to use a hidden snap and then either side can be the front.

All your options sound good, and the piping one sounds really classy. A purse is a great use for Laurel Burch fabrics. I love them, but they scream "Laurel Burch" and so I hesitate to use them in a quilt.
Oh, that is SO cute. I'm planning to quilt some of the cats in outline on my own Laurel Burch Quilt.
Love that fabric. Hidden snap, then it is reversable!
I vote for reversible too.
Im going to go against the grain, I would use the side with the red fabric as the front. But no matter what you end up doing, It's going to look fantastic!
I like the side with the red fabric as the front. A great use of Laurel Burch fabrics which are always such fun to use.
How beautiful. I love the entire design. I like the side with thered as the front. It will be fun to find out what you decide.
