I'm not as you can see. On the middle one I tried a different shape. The one one the right is more masculine. A ten year old boy told me they were cool so I guess boys could wear them too. Who knew? The one on the right has a pink feather on the top and is all covered with an iridescent mesh. The gold leaves were stamped on black fabric for a mandala that didn't work out. Now they have a new life on a cuff.

You know these cuffs are so interesting and unique. Like you can wear a little bit of your art where ever you go without your whole outfit screaming - I'm an art quilter! You can use them to experiment a bit on a design or new technique. Plus they would make nice gifts! Pretty - Pretty :)
really like the new shape you created...
have you thought of maybe doing small quilted strips and then joining them at the closures? you could also weave the strips and then join them at the end on the closure band... that would be cool! specially for boy ones..although i guess if you incoroporated ribbons and stuff that would add more to the girl stuff too... i can see you really getting experiemental with these...
i'm also thinking hook and eyes would be cool for some of the closures...
i've also seen ones where the buttons are made of bundles of beads...
anyway, they are looking really cool and it's great to be able to try diff things but only with a small commitment! lol

ps i was wondering if you could also do squares like on our quilt or kalidescopes or that kinda thing? or are they too small? i'm loving the creativity mum!
Great way to recycle the leaves. They now have the perfect home.
They look great. I see a wall hanging coming soon:):):)
Just me...playing catch up with my fabulous blogging friends. ;-) I won't try to comment on each of your posts that I've missed...but I just have to say: Me oh my! I LOVE YOUR CUFFS!!! SO COOL!!!
Like postcards, they're a terrific way to experiment...and then you get to keep them and wear them! How stylin'!
I've been busy doing a little crocheting and felting...so I'll have a blog post of some bangles to share one of these fine days. ;-) Funny how we're both thinking wrist fashion! ;-)
