Kitty Corner

I am debating the idea of a red border between the houses and the words. I am also wondering if there should be something between the rows of houses, or should I make them all face a center square? I'll make a few more and try that. Now I'm wishing I had used all the same snow fabric. Maybe there are two or three quilts here...
This is my 970th post. I'll soon have to start thinking of a blog draw to celebrate 1000. Time flies when you are having fun!

Hmm...I kind of like the idea -- or at least the picture that I have in my head -- of having all of the same snow, too. Or should the snow be segregated? Like...you have fluffy snow that you can cross country ski in...but my snow is hard as a rock. Hmm...pondering time? ;-)

Stay WARM!!!

I like the red separation, like it is just in that corner. I would space the houses randomly with snow and trees randomly between them. You can stll plan it out as rows to sew without it becoming too complicated. I like all of the different snow fabrics too.

I'm going to be at 1000 posts too the end of this week or beginning of next.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you'll decide on something wonderful!

I agree with Wanda.

well, I like it both ways. I don't think the snow has to be all the same. if you look out your window you'll see lots of variation in the snow. (we don't actually have much here at all.)anything good at the thrift shop this week?

I like where you are going with it here, but I agree with Wanda and Em too... 8-)

I like all the different snows--this is after all a folk art piece--but I would consider making the red border much narrower. As it is, it really draws the eye away from the houses.

What a fun quilt. It has so much motion to it.
