Blue Bear Houses

When I looked closer at my bear fabric, there were, in fact, bears having a picnic on it. If I put it in the middle I could easily call the piece Teddy Bears' Picnic. (BTW, where should the apostrophe go? Is it the picnic of one bear or all of the bears?) I don't know if I like the arrangement though. It is a bit confusing although it could be hung any way, but is that a plus or not?

This piece was kind of boring so I over-dyed it with the leftovers of my last session. I like it much better now.

An upside down tree and house is a bit scary to me!

i think that is a really cute quilt and would make a great quilt for a little kid. if they had little teddies they could sit there on the blanket and let them have picnics and then walk home for a nap. it's so cute! maybe you could find some little teddies and have velcro or buttons or something that they could hook onto. it would be like an interactive quilt! it would remind me of that great storybook quilt you made us when we were little kids. i loved that quilt!!

well, it depends, but if you have more than one bear, its plural possessive. enough of the grammar lesson already. fun quilt!

I would make a nice picnic mat laid out like this but I'm not sure about a wall hanging, but there again it's your choice. Go with what you think is right.

I love it! It has such a teddy bear neighborhood/park feel to it. :-)

Very colorful Joyce!
As you have it, it would make a nice little play mat for a baby...
As a wall quilt? Hmmm...? Have you tried putting the houses all upright, with the picnic centered still?
... perhaps you have already decided and sewn it together by now... I'm late with my visit... 8-)
Happy stitchings!
