Baking Day

If you are going to spend a few hours waiting for bread to rise you might as well wait for more than one kind while you are at it. I made two that I have tried previously and liked, Sweet Potato Dinner Rolls and Hazelnut Current Boule. I also tried an Onion Rye bread which I actually started two days ago. Some of these breads require some dedication and planning. I haven't tasted the rye yet but I must say, the house smells divine.

How yummy. The smell is the best part. The eating the second best part.

Yum yum yum. I used to bake bread, but I can't be trusted not to eat the whole lot warm with half a pund of butter, so no longer. Your's look so good...

I make tons of bread for our restaurant when we are open - I always tell people the same thing - just as easy to make 10 loaves as 1 - you have to stay home to babysit it anyway! I like all the different varities you are making. I have a pan like your black one, but mine is maroon - it gets used for all sorts of cooking projects! Cheers! Evelyn
