I got the first row sewn together this weekend but that's about all I got done. It was finally nice outside so I decided to enjoy the outdoors. I sewed the first full patterned row because I'm not entirely sure I like the black for the border. There are many, many more seams to sew before this one is done.

Absolutely beautiful! I look forward to your next update!
I love how the boxes are spilling out amongst the flowers.
How about a dark grey (like that in the grey/lavender blocks towards bottom) for the border?
Glad you enjoyed the outdoors! You know that the studio will always be there...good weather is often hard to come by. ;-)
Looking good Joyce! 8-)
This quilt is going to be stunning. And by the way I want to come to the fondue party.
