its sounding like you'll have lots of time to work on trees in your studio if the forecast holds true for the next few days... Too cold to even take the composting out for me :-)
That is looking so colourful and happy. I have a lion fabric if you can't find one; I could post you a bit. Someone else had a similar idea on their blog with people or animals in every house - can't remember who it was now . I think Freddy and Gwen would be impressed with your parts dept.I like their trees on page 231, with lots of green!

Your jungle village is progressing nicely. And it contrasts with those very cold temps outside. We are expecting those today. Stay warm quilting!
Your village is wonderful. You should have no problems with ideas for your challenge. I see loads of creativity going on there.......
Thanks for the information I needed for my challenge. Looking at your blocks answered a question for me.
WOW joyce! that is looking so good!
Love those bright colours!
It makes such a contrast to the cold outside!

What a perfect contrast to what you see out your door! That quilt will keep you warm even if it never makes it to the quilt stage!
I love the piano keys border.
Hmm, have to say I'm much rather come visit you in the jungle village than in all that snow. Very fun.
That will be one wicked quilt when it's done - love the black and white spots - just right for balancing with the bright colours

As long as it's cozy inside, the rest can just happen . . . especially when you have such a fun quilt to work on.
I like the quilt so far, I think the flower patch in the middle is a very good choice.
Your jungle village looks wonderful Joyce, what a wonderful project to work on while it's so cold outside.
*hugs*

Brrr!
I choose jungle over village today!
I'm loving your village!
Your weather forecast also makes it very conducive for you to stay inside and sew, don't you think?
xo
Oh, what a pretty contrast, your cheerful village next to that gorgeous snow shot.
