Merry Sunshine
I worked a little bit more on Merry Sunshine but I still don't have the right blue for the top. I made a picket fence for the bottom and I quite like that. I'm not sure if I need a border around the sides and top. Maybe the binding will be enough there or I might even do an envelope and not bind it at all. I have never done a quilt like that but it could be the best solution for this shape.
We have been having gorgeous fall weather here, near freezing at night and beautiful during the day. Yesterday we went for a long walk with friends and then had a delicious Thai curry that was waiting for us in the slow cooker when we got back. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

the picket fence really "finishes" the quilt off. It'd be a great one for an envelope finish!
It is coming along great! If you leave it curved, I think I would put a wide biased hanging sleeve around the 1/2 circle and then put in some sort of flexible wiring/tubing??? inside to give it shape while hanging. If you want it square at the top, maybe you could applique it onto a square? Whatever you decide, I like it so far!
Cheers!

Mmmm - I'm envious of your fall weather. The best we've done here is open the windows to catch a cool breeze and then light a fire in the fireplace *s*
Very cute! I love the blue polka dot fabric on the side!
The picket fence is a great idea.
Your weather sounds perfect at present. I love those nice days, with cool or cold nights.
Yum, Thai curry!
This is such a happy quilt! I just love it!!!
Would you share your slow cooker curry recipe? I'd love to have it.

This quilt is looking great! The fence at the bottom and rays at the top are wonderful!
You've been working hard in my absence! You've had Thanksgiving, had a giveaway, and are now working on a cute new quilt! You need a nap!!! ;-)
Joyce the picket fence is fantastic :)
