Here is a picture of a sunrise from our kitchen window. I actually went out on the deck to take it but it's what I look at while eating breakfast, if I'm not reading blogs, that is.
This morning we are leaving for a couple of days in Virden, Mantioba to take down an art show and visit friends. There is a quilter involved so it should be fun. Virden is about 300 km (I think around 150 miles) from here so we are going to leave early and take our time driving. Hopefully, I will have some interesting pictures to show you when I get back.
Monday is Thanksgiving Day here in Canada so I'll be cooking on Sunday and entertaining our children and their families on Monday.

I like your sunrise too. Have you ever made any landscape quilts of sunrises or sunsets? (I'm new to visiting your blog). I'd like to try one. I always buy those colors and love them, but seldom use them. This would be a perfect theme!

What a beautiful picture Joyce. I've tried taking sunrise/sunset pictures and they just don't turn out very well. We've had the most beautiful sunrise/sunsets in the last month though. Have a great trip!
I love the sunrises and sunsets this time of year -- the way the trees are silhouettes -- it must happen at other times, but well, I just don't seem to notice the way I do now. Thanks for sharing and Happy Thanksgiving!

What a beautiful sunrise Joyce!!! ;-) We don't have a good or direct view of the sunrise or set here, and I miss it. This morning it was raining, so there wasn't much to see anyway!
