We went to Winnipeg yesterday so I, of course, went fabric shopping. I was looking for a black or dark brown mottleld fabric. I didn't find that but naturally I couldn't come away empty handed so these are what I bought. The bead things are purse handles that were regular $8.99 on sale for $1.00. I bought 4 of them and thought later that I should have bought all of them. They'd look pretty cute on an evening bag. Not that I use evening bags. I seldom get out of my jeans (at least I am out of PJs most of the day). I do enjoy making bags though.

Lots of fun fabrics! And I love the bead handles. I always love the element of surpise...like a bead-handled handbag with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and maybe a jean jacket? Your granddaughters will love the handles, won't they?!

I laughed out loud reading "evening bags" ... and "out of pajamas" ... some days I am so lazy, that part about getting "out of pajamas' is a bit too much! If I didn't have a DH, maybe "in pajamas" would be my mode. and yes, jeans seems to be the mode of most days.

these fabrics are wonderful especially the dotty one, and the handles will look great attached to something...and what is it that's so charming about wonky houses? I love them!! Must be the colors and shapes and the fact that houses don't have to be perfect to be charming. Mine included!

What yummy fabrics! And sometimes it's hard to find black and whites. Evening bag? Hmmmm...wouldn't know about that LOL. But pajamas? Jeans? That's me through and through.
