This morning I put the borders on the MAM after debating for quite awhile and auditioning several different fabrics. I had a blue with darker blue polka dots that looked great but there was not enough of it. Finally, I decided on this green and I am quite happy with it. Now it will join the queue at the quilting machine.

OK, I just got to read your blog from yesterday and you already have a border on it. I so WANT to do that! I love the green border you put on it, it looks very nice.
It looks great! And it has me dying to create my own mile-a-minute, which is a shame since I've only just started quilting, and don't really have scraps to work with.
you're just piling up the tops this year! It is beautiful joyce. :-)
It looks fabulous! Love the green on the border.
What a wonderful quilt. I like the borders. Just beautiful!!!
I am going to have to try your idea of the triple borders for a BUSY quilt - looks great!!!
Cheers!

I like the border color too. At this rate you are going to have over 50 finished quilts by the end of the year!
I can't believe how quickly you put this one together! I love the borders--perfect colours for this quilt!
You're not fooling around when you say mile a minute! Really like how this one came out...

It's amazing how borders can tame a wild quilt! Looks great!
Yes, it looks great.
I have a few tops that could keep it company in the quilting queue.
I think the green was a great choice. Beautiful quilt.
Wow Joyce!! You are one impressive lady! I just love this quilt and I see the potential for another scrap quilt for me coming from your blog. I love it and I love the black in the borders.
Joyce, This is beautiful, I sure wish I had a scrap bag that looks like yours. I noticed in an earlier post you mentioned making labels for your quilt. Would you mind sharing how you do this? I need some ideas.
Joyce, I love this quilt! You certainly have a bunch of super fabrics. And there are 80 impressive blocks in this quilt.
You are incredible...where do you get the energy? I feel like such a slug....but this is a gorgeous quilt! MMMMMMMMM!!!
xo
It's beautiful!!
Love that MAM - there are some darker areas that look intriging - shadow-y. Not sure if you planned it, but just tell folks you did!
I think you are going a Mile A Minute! I'm loving your show and tell!
We've got to stop opening those drawers, it just means more Work!! Your top is lovely, so scrappy and bright, but the darks add depth to it. Aren't you glad you 'planned' it that way?
Wow, you are on a roll these days - one quilt after another. I'm impressed! Your MAM looks great - there seems to be a lot of this makin-something-from-scraps going around lately. I too have started tackling my scrap basket this weekend.
