Stalled

Today I got the blocks all sewn together (hopefully no mistakes that will show up now when I post this picture) but I'm stalled because I have enough gold to go only half way around the quilt. I really like it so far. It looks much more delicate than anything I have ever done. Once I get the gold fabric it will take no time at all to add the borders. The next thing will be to decide how to quilt it.

We went for a walk today and found these flowers, I think they are Bottle Gentian, that appear in only one spot on our property every fall. They are a beautiful blue and it's well worth the walk to see them.

There aren't very many really pretty blue wild flowers that I have found. I really like the shade of blue in those.

I like the pattern of your quilt too. I like anything that makes the chain on the diagonal and the stars are a nice break from the chunckier ones.

There's just something about blue and green, especially that sort of blue.

The quilt is wonderful.

Love the quilt and your choice of colours and pattern. I've never seen that flower before; but what a pretty colour.
