Burch Bag

I made the bag reversible with a hidden snap. I put red piping around the top to give it a finished look. I thought it also needed the buttons, which are purely decorative.

The blue part on this side is an outside pocket. I would have made it a bit deeper if I had more fabric. I got the strap material at M&J Trimmings in NYC when we were there last month.

Love this bag, fabric, and handles. Did you braid them yourself?

it's great, and so much fun. I got an apron made from Burch fabric for my birthday -- we'd make a set!

That's the perfect fabric and project to work on during these grey days! It turned out great, Joyce. Love those handles.
