Here are a couple of different versions of Stormy Weather. I'll probably go with the top one. I prefer plain fabric with lots of embellishment. The middle section is supposed to represent a rainbow or at least I have used rainbow colors. On the top one I have arranged the stars to roughly represent the Big Dipper. The pom poms on the bottom of the right section don't show up very well against the white of my design wall. I also have some blue ones but they seemed too light colored.

One of my favorite things about your blog is how you share your design process -- I learn so much watching your projects develop. I like your center panel.
I can't wait to see how this ends up...you always come up with an exciting and unique piece. I love how you try things out. I sure wish I had such an imagination!

Looking good! I like the newest rainbow section. But, pom poms? How do they relate to this story about skies?
