Granddaughters Visit

Three of my granddaughters have come to stay for a couple of days during their spring break. We started out with sewing and this afternoon moved on to cooking. The good thing is that now they are old enough to cook on their own while I relax with a book and then enjoy the fruits of their labors when they are done. Here they are putting the finishing touches on some pretzels . Below are the biscotti they made earlier.

Oh what fun! This is the relationship I enjoy with my 3 nieces. (Lucky since I had two boys.) To have granddaughters is a wonderful blessing. Its so much fun to sew, craft and cook with them.

How nice for you to have your grand-daughters staying. I'm sure they will look after you so you can read your book. They seem to be doing a good job in the kitchen. They look yummy.

Visiting Grandma was always the best! They are lucky girls. And...yes, at their age, you can relax a little! How wonderful that they have a cool grandma that they can learn stuff with!

It must be just as fun to hear them enjoy one another as it is for you to have them one on one.

What a fun weekend! Enjoy the rest of it, Joyce!
