Mud Anybody?

The grader got stuck at the end of our lane this afternoon and this is the mess it left. Hopefully, somebody will be back tomorrow with some gravel and maybe a different kind of road equipment.

Oh boy! I hope you don't need to get out for a bit.

Do you really have to plow through this? I hope not.

Ewwww - Ick..... I lived in Winnipeg once for a year and I remember that black gumbo that stuck to your shoes and all the houses with the little metal stands by the doors to scrape the mud off your shoes.

How are you doing with the rising rivers? I have been thinking of you when watching the News of flooding in Manitoba and the Red River. I hope all is well for you.

This is all so foreign to me. Now, if it were a quake tremor, Santa Ana winds or a sig alert on the freeway I'd understand. I due envy you for the change in seasons, the green of spring and fall colors.

We got the same. The electricity board are putting the cables underground. They are using part of our land to park the diggers, compressor, etc and the mess is unbelieveable! They've promised to return it to its previous state. I hope so as they've knocked down part of a boundary wall!

Ugh...looks just like around here. We've heard that counties and townships are having a hard time finding gravel, with all of the re-construction of roads around the state. When will things be *normal* again?!

And will we even recognize *normal* anymore?

Stay safe and creative.
