Spirng?

If this is spring you'd hate to see winter wouldn't you. The main difference is that it's not very cold, just below freezing. Well that's not cold compared to what we had in the real winter.

I took one piece of my snow dyed fabric and made this little bag from it. It's quite different on each side. I'll probably change the handle. I like the look of it but it's not going to be strong enough. I may look for some heavier beading wire that would be stronger but still flexible. I got to use my piping foot again. I love that gadget!

very fun. I like the different sides. I'm with you on spring -- we're heading west on the TransCanada today and hope it stays above freezing.

what a great little bag! I love the way the two sides are related but different....

Perhaps some green snow dyeing would give the illusion of spring??? Sigh. soon, soon...

"Spirng"? Kinda says it all, doesn't it? I presume this was a typo, but your spring weather also appears to be a type!

We're expecting a "doozy" of a snow storm tonight and Saturday. I guess I can say it's going to be a swon morts.

(I can't help it, my brain makes this stuff up!)

Nice, Joyce. Those piping feet are a great invention. I put some around my kaleidoscope quilt K2 in the binding, and it is just a nice touch.

It is hovering around freezing here too, and we still have snow in places that can be measured in feet. It is April. Where are my tulips!

The bead handle looks great on your bag. It depends what you're planning to put in it as to whether it's strong enough!

Delightful fabric! It's perfect for a handbag. The beaded handle is a darling design element as well. Do you think a rigid wire would be stronger? Or perhaps just a nylon (or another synthetic) string/yarn?
