Sewing Again

I put together this table runner to try a technique I saw online using a tube of three colors to make the blocks. It worked amazingly well. Now I have to find some backing and quilt it. It is about 75x50 so I might just stitch in the ditch on my regular machine rather than loading it up on the frame.
The instructions for this block can be found at: Tube Quilting on Utube.

Beautiful colors, and the simplicity of the pattern really sets them off.

Great table runner! I have to admit, quilting a table runner is on this winter's "to do" list...will check out the website! Thanks!

That is a great table runner. I don't have a frame, but I have read where frame quilters will baste muslin strips between small projects and load it all as 1 project and quilt away - so maybe it will be easier to make more table runners and quilt them on the frame? Like I said - I am not exactly how it all works, but it seemed like a good idea to me when I read about it! Cheers! Evelyn
